Our supporters

This project is delivered by The Rotary Club of Rugby Dunsmore. The club is part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.4 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Learn more about Rotary at the Rotary International website.

Each Rotary Club is independent and differs slightly from each other, but sits firmly under the umbrella of Rotary international. Rugby Dunsmore Rotary Club focuses on creating an inclusive network of people from all walks of life who:

  • enjoy each other’s company (socialise)
  • want to expand their contacts both business and personal (network)
  • want to contribute something to the community in which they live (seek ways to help others)
  • enjoy being part of a diverse group (have fun!)

The cost, level of commitment and time given is entirely the member’s choice!

We are hugely grateful to Hinckley & Rugby Building Society who are our main sponsors for 2022. With the support of the Society, we have been able to create this Rotary World Savers site and transfer the huge library of actions across from the page’s predecessor, 365 Actions.

Hinckley & Rugby is particularly dedicated to the growing call for everyone to do their bit in the fight against climate change. In 2021 it became the first UK building society to complete Carbon Literacy training and introduced a range of Green Mortgages to allow existing members to access additional borrowing to increase energy efficiency through retrofitting their properties.

In addition, Chief Executive, Colin Fyfe, spoke at a fringe event for COP26 on the ways in which lenders can help borrowers to better understand how they can reduce their carbon footprints through their homes.

You can learn more about Hinckley & Rugby Building Society on their website.
